India Association of Phoenix (IAP)

The India Association of Phoenix (IAP) is one of the oldest Indian community organizations in Arizona, with a president elected every year since 1974. It speaks for Arizonans with roots in India and their friends, and its membership is open to everyone, whatever their color, creed or nationality.

What IAP works for

• Helping Indians take a full part in American life, and newcomers settle in
• A forum for ideas, issues and shared concerns
• Supporting sister organizations and helping them work together
• Protecting the rights of Indians and recognizing their contributions
• A community center for the Phoenix metro area

IAP brings the community together for celebrations such as Holi and the Discover India festival, and its Youth Committee gives young members a chance to lead, volunteer and organize.

Membership is open to individuals and couples, students, life members, patrons, and sister organizations.
